Acid attack investigation in Kew Gardens

The NYPD reported a victim of an acid attack in Kew Gardens. The incident was reported this morning around 8am at a location on Metropolitan Avenue near Lefferts Blvd. EMS transported the female victim to a local hospital. Detectives apprehended the accused in the incident. Neighbors were shocked by the incident.
