A pedestrian struck by vehicle in Bayside

Police closed off 26th Avenue and Corporal Kennedy Street in Bayside reporting a pedestrian struck by vehicle. EMS transported the pedestrian to a local hospital and now reporting serious injuries. It happened around 3:30pm. Highway CIS is working on the scene. The driver remains on the scene and is cooperating with the police. Ongoing investigation.
