Drive by shooting in Long Island

Police reported a male shot in the face in Long Island. This is by Jamaica Avenue in front of the memorial high school in Wyandanch. Heavy police presence around the high school for crowd control. The suspect is male, black took off in a sedan vehicle toward Nassau bound. Chopper and K-9 enroute. The victim, 40, male is being transported to a local hospital. Ongoing investigation.
