de Blasio and then Adams and now Cuomo

Andrew Cuomo is the frontrunner to the NYC Mayoral race and he has a new challenger who moved up two spots over Adams and Adams. Eric and the other is NYC Council Speaker Adrienne who is not polling well.

Cuomo's challenger is Zohran Mamdani, the current NYS Assembly member running under the Democratic Socialists of America, (DSA). Of $2.4 million raised by Mamdani, 289 Columbia University professors and employees were donors to his campaign.

So far only 6 elected officials endorsed Mamdani who are members of the DSA while the others are all aiming either Cuomo or Adrienne Adams.

Cuomo has a double-digit lead in the New York City mayoral race far ahead of Mamdani.

As of this week, the Democrat party is reaching out to more of the old timers from Cuomo, Rahm Emanuel to Gavin Newsom to lead the front. Michelle Obama also launched a podcast to make waves to the same party. Cuomo already has more endorsements than any candidates including members of the NYS Assembly and Senate.

As for the GOP candidate, Curtis Sliwa has another challenger and Darren Aquino with the slogan, Make NY Safe Again.
