7 train delays in Corona due to fatality

The NYPD is at the Corona subway station of the 7 line reporting a male struck by train and died. This is on Roosevelt Avenue at the 103rd Street Corona Plaza.

ESU is working to remove the body.

The medical examiner is standing by to transport the body to conduct an autopsy.

Police are also working on the crowd control.

Several witnesses told cops the male jumped toward the oncoming train. EMS is attending to all shaken from witnessing the incident.

Power is shut down in both directions.

Also traffic delays on Roosevelt Avenue in both directions.
