Woman killed by stray bullet in Jackson Heights

Police reported a woman was killed by stray bullet inside the apartment. It happened around 12:45am on 34th Avenue in Jackson Heights. The victim identified as Bertha Arriaga, 43 was inside the apartment and her son rushed to her side after the incident. There were calls of shots fired. So far there are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. This happened in the 7th floor of an apartment building.
