Woman arrested for hit and run in Central Islip

Vierka Batista-Coronado, 33 of Central Islip was arrested and charged with hit and run death of Jose Lino Martinez, 44. The incident happened on Sunday, April 23 around 4:30am at Suffolk Avenue and Applegate Drive. Batista-Coronado allegedly struck Martinez and took off. After further investigation, she was taken into custody. pic by SCPD. Reported 10am.
