West John Street closed in Hicksville

The NCPD closed off West John Street in Hicksville reporting a vehicle accident with one dead. This is by Engel Street.

The medical examiner is working to transport the body for autopsy.

EMS is working to transport all the injured to local hospitals.

Police stated this was a result of overturned vehicle caught fire.

Firefighters are working on the scene.

The investigation continues.

Update - This was a result of another driver causing the crash and police arrested the same driver charged with DWI.
