Fatality in Douglaston causing delays all around

Police are at the vicinity of the Grand Central Parkway and Douglaston Parkway reporting a vehicle accident with one dead.

This is at the local sanitation department near Creedmoor and Alley Pond Park vicinity. Reported a sanitation worker is struck by the garbage truck.

ESU is working on the scene.

EMS is checking for injuries to all involved.

Heavy delays on the Grand Central Parkway and Douglaston Parkway ramp area.

Also, there is a vehicle overturned on the LIE eastbound by the Clearview Expressway causing delays.

Both incidents are under investigation.
