Wanted for St James endangering the welfare of a child

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who endangered the welfare of a child in St. James.

A 14-year-old female was walking from Smithtown High School East on September 11 at approximately 2:20 p.m. when a man parked his black Audi SUV in front of her at the corner of Lincoln Avenue and 6th Street. He made an inappropriate comment and offered her $300. The man is described as white, bald and between the ages of 40-50.
