Walker dead crossing the the GCP westbound

Police reported a male walked across the Grand Central Parkway westbound by Northern Blvd and dead after struck by vehicle. It happened around midnight and all lanes were closed. The pedestrian died on the spot. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police. The parkway was closed for a few hours due to investigation.
