Victim died after sucker punched in Jamaica

Mohammad Alam, 66 of Elmhurst died after being in coma. The incident happened on September 28, 2017 around 6:30pm when Alam was on the phone and a teen robbed him. Alam followed on Hillside Avenue and 168th Street until he was sucker punched by another teen causing him to fell to the ground. Police arrested Shyquan Kimble and Jaleel Steele, both 16 of Queens and charged with robbery. Queens DA's office reported the charges will be upgraded after Alam's death.
