Vehicle break in in Glen Oaks can only be reimbursed with insurance

After constant vehicle break-ins in Glen Oaks where most incidents occurs around the park on 260th Street by 75th Avenue, Little Neck Parkway and Union Turnpike, residents are advised to add extra for insurance for windows protection. During the week of October 9, several residents of Glen Oaks Village woke to items stolen from their vehicles where some had windows broken into. Some of the incidents occurred inside the parking lot behind court yards. Police usually files a report and then reply they will investigate. Also, police advise not to leave anything valuable inside vehicles. Some of the cost for windshields are harsh and many insurance agents advise to have protection for a small monthly fee. The latest incident occurred on Little Neck Parkway and 75th Avenue where three vehicles were broken into by EDP. Afterward a resident pointed the perp sitting at the bus stop on Little Neck Parkway and Union Turnpike. The EDP was taken to hospital for observation and then as usual, NYS Dept of Health is notified.
