Vehicle accident reported before rush hour around the area

Amityville reported a fatal vehicle accident by Loudon Avenue and Broadway this morning around 8am.

The LIE westbound was delayed when a vehicle accident resulted with overturned oil tanker around 1:30pm on the westbound Exit 68 in Manorville. One car went into the woods.

Chopper landed on the expressway and transported the injured to local hospitals.

Around 12:30pm, a pedestrian was struck by vehicle in Hollis. This is on 195th Street and 110th Avenue. EMS transported the pedestrian to a local hospital with injuries.

Around 10am, a vehicle overturned on the New Hyde Park Road by Maple Drive in New Hyde Park.

Overnight, the Clearview Expressway was a mess with accident resulting a vehicle overturned.

From NYPD and both NCPD and SCPD, there were 21 vehicle accidents before 5pm today before the rush hour.
