Union Turnpike businesses are getting fines

NYC inspectors walking now on Union Turnpike between Main Street and Langdale Street handing out $1000 fines for stores with people inside without masks. Several store owners stated they have a sign of no mask without entry and unable to afford to hire security to enforce it. Inspectors fine them anyway and told them to appeal. This came after spike in COVID in Fresh Meadows spreading to east bound.
