UPDATE Glen Cove man sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for his role in Kidnapping and murder of man who parked in front of Kayla Alvarengas home

Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney today announced that Christpher Perdomo, 29, of Glen Cove, was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for his role in the kidnapping and murder of Linver Ortiz Ponce, 29, of Central Islip, who was killed for simply parking in front of co-defendant Alvarenga’s home in Bay Shore. On April 28, 2026, Alvarenga was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after a jury trial.
