UNGA starts tomorrow in NYC

The 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) will open on Tuesday, 10 September 2024. The first day of the high-level General Debate will be Tuesday, 24 September 2024, continue through Saturday, 28 September, and conclude on Monday, 30 September 2024.

Manhattan will have traffic gridlock and drivers are advised to use alternate transportation.

As for Long Islanders, there will be traffic around Nassau Coliseum for the Prime Minister of India Modi scheduled to speak on September 22. More than 10,000 seats have been reserved already.

The NCPD will be coordinating the traffic on both Northern State and Meadowbrook State Parkways.

Modi is on the same line as the Republican party in the USA.

NY's favorite president Biden will also be speaking from the teleprompter at the UNGA in Manhattan.
