Two separate vehicle collisions in Queens and Long Island

Northern State Parkway westbound is closed in Commack after a single vehicle crash with the driver dead. The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

For Queens, Union Turnpike and Frannie Lew intersection in Fresh Meadows closed after two vehicle collisions with multiple injuries and two people unresponsive. ESU removed all from the vehicle and EMS transported the injured to local hospitals.

Highway CIS is working on the scene.
