Debris cleanup continue on the service road in Little Neck

On Monday around 9am, police closed off the service road of the Grand Central Parkway eastbound from Little Neck Parkway due to a wall collapse. A neighbor says this was a new construction taking place on the corner which had debris on the roadway all around.

This morning, the NYC building department arrived at the scene and sealed off the premise from continuing with the work.

EMS reported no injuries.

Neighbors continue to clean up the sidewalk after the structure was cleared.

An estimated duration for the service road to open is not announced as of this afternoon.
