Two separate tragic deaths has family shaken

The NYPD reported a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle in Whitestone yesterday. The incident was reported on the Cross Island Parkway northbound service road near 157th Street around 7pm. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital where he died later. He was a 21 year old resident of Whitestone. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police.

The other one is in Nassau County where detectives are working around the clock of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on the Southern State Parkway eastbound by Exit 13 yesterday. The male, 15 years old, was walking on the parkway when the incident occurred. The victim's family in St Albans told the media he was a special needs student at The Martin De Porres School for Exceptional Children in Elmont. Police did not release the details and the school personnel are cooperating.

Both incidents are ongoing investigations.
