Same task extended after three days break on the LIE

First it was August 29 to September 5. Now it's September 8 to 22 for the LIE construction saga in Bayside.

Starting September 8, the Springfield Blvd Exit will be closed from the eastbound Long Island Expressway where the ramp is and closure of entrance ramp from eastbound Horace Harding Expwy and 213th St to eastbound Long Island Expwy.

Again, the closures are necessary to facilitate an ongoing project to replace the Oceania Street Bridge over I-495. This is an $83 million project funded by taxpayers.
