Two separate rape investigations in Glen Oaks

Detectives from the local police precinct are investigation two separate rape incidents occurred in the Glen Oaks vicinity. One incident was reported on April 24 afternoon in the vicinity of 263rd Street and 73rd Avenue. This was a first degree crime. Another incident confirmed on 242nd Street near Union Turnpike. This was a third degree crime from the report.

EMS transported the victims to local hospitals.

The Queens DA is working with detectives on both cases where the first degree crime resulted in arrest. Police are searching for the suspect wanted in the third degree incident and so far no arrests.
