Two separate homicide investigations in Suffolk County

The SCPD reported a male shot during a block party in Wyandanch around 10pm in the vicinity of Parkway Blvd. The suspect, male, black, took off in a vehicle toward an unknown direction.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital now in stable condition.

Around 5am this morning, the SCPD reported a dead body was found in Brentwood. This is in the vicinity of Clarke Street from a 911 call. The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy.

Detectives are working on both cases.
