Two separate homicide investigations in Long Island

The SCPD reported 2 separate homicide investigations in Long Island with one murder. Around 9:45pm on Wednesday, police found the body of Kinshuk Patel, 33 inside the Dapper Smoke Shop in Lindenhurst. This is in the 400 block of 40th Street. Around 10pm, a male was shot multiple times in Coram. This is at the corner of Middle Country Road and Fife Drive. He remains at the local hospital. Both investigations are ongoing.
