Two separate death investigation on Long Island

The SCPD reported last night around 8pm, a body was found at a location in Mastic. This is by Poosatuck Lane near Eleanor Avenue.

The same night around 11pm, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and later died. This is in Copaigue on Malta Street near Great Neck Road.

The medical examiners transported both bodies to conduct autopsies.

Detectives are working on both incidents.

The investigation continues.
