Two locations have new subway gates

The MTA launched their new wide aisle fare gate at two locations in NYC. One is at Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK in Jamaica and the other at Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

This is a pilot program after MTA's former boss became London, UK's train chief. One of the disadvantages of this gate is it can be forced open for non payers while honest hard workers will be able to move their carry around easier after paying. Another disadvantage is one fare can open the door and hold as long as it can.

The MTA officials will evaluate the new door program after their review based on the two locations.
