Two in custody from Hempstead and Garden City incidents

The hit and run incident on Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont on Friday reported the suspect in custody and was arraigned this morning. The suspect who took off came back in another vehicle and was taken into custody when a witness came forward. The victim is still in the hospital with serious injuries.

As for the local mall incident in Garden City last night, police arrested one of the male involved in the fight. The male, 47, was arraigned today after a traffic stop near the mall. More weapons were recovered from the vehicle. The DA's office reported there was a dispute and then altercation involving another suspect who is now on the hunt by police.

There are no arrests for the hit and run incident late last night in Uniondale.

The investigation continues.
