Two fire incidents in Long Island

Around 3:45pm, firefighters reported fire at 17 5th Place in Syosset. This is a private dwelling. The fire started in the attic of a three floor home. EMS reported minor injuries.

Around 3:15pm, fire was reported at 40 Carroll Street in Roosevelt. This is also a private dwelling. EMS reported no injures.

Firefighters are investigating to what caused the fire.
