Two brothers busted at Creedmoor migrant center in Bellerose

The NYPD reported the arrest of Jaroscar Chavez Silva, 36 and his brother, Roshiel Chavez Silva, 30 at the local migrant facility in Creedmoor on Hillside Avenue in Bellerose as wanted fugitives on attempted murder charges in Florida.

The arrest was reported this morning after the Fugitive Task Force and the US Marshals tracked them down from the Roosevelt Hotel where migrants are welcome and processed before assigning them to Creedmoor.

The incident was reported on September 16 in Florida and police went on a manhunt search for Roshiel Chavez Silva who is now in custody with the US Marshals awaiting extradition to Florida.

His brother Jaroscar Chavez Silva was charged with weapon possession and will be released back to the Creedmoor after arraignment.

Both brothers are migrants from Cuba.

The investigation continues.
