Two Queens Village men busted for burglary at Dior in Manhasset

Sixth Squad detectives report the arrests of two Queens Village men for a Burglary that occurred on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 7:35 pm in Manhasset. According to detectives, two men broke a glass door and entered Dior located at 2110 Northern Boulevard. The subjects removed merchandise and exited the store. The subjects fled from the scene in a Honda Civic with merchandise valued in excess of $28,000 dollars. A description of the vehicle was provided to police. A short time later, officers located the vehicle and conducted a thorough investigation. Ervis Sula, 31 and Daniel Cardenas, 26 were placed under arrest without incident. Cardenas was found to be in possession of a substance believed to be heroin. Defendants Sula and Cardenas are being charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree. Cardenas is additionally charged with two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. They will be arraigned on Monday, August 31, 2020 in Mineola.
