Truck hijacking investigation in Manhasset

The NCPD reported a group of suspects followed a delivery truck heading to the Apple store on Northern Blvd in Manhasset. Before approaching the store, the suspects displayed weapons toward the driver and passenger to stop the vehicle. Then pushed out all and took off with the truck holding inventory set to deliver to the store. Police found the truck nearby and from the surveillance video, another truck took off from the same spot toward an unknown direction with merchandise.
The incident was reported this morning around 9am in Nassau County after the truck was followed from JFK vicinity.
There were no injuries to any victims. Police say the suspects described as males, Hispanics wearing all black with masks from the surveillance video.
The investigation continues.
