Train delays on Roosevelt Avenue

Police are at the Elmhurst Avenue reporting a male struck by train died. This is on the 7 line on Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights.

The ESU is working to remove the body.

The medical examiner is standing by to transport the body pending autopsy.

Power is shut down in both directions.

EMS is attending to the onlookers who are shaken.

Ongoing investigation.

Update - This was a result of a fight between two people on the platform when one fell into the tracks and died.
