Traffic delays in New Hyde Park

Tomorrow starting 12pm, Lakeville Road in New Hyde Park will be heavily delayed with traffic due to the funeral of Ray Wishropp, the manager of Stop and Shop who was killed while working. The funeral service will be at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Road from 2pm to 9:30pm with viewing. Then on Wednesday around 11:45pm, the service will go to Pinelawn Memorial Park for burial. More than 1,000 people are expected to attend the viewing. Stop and Shop is taking care of the service. Meanwhile, the store opened today after investigation. A memorial section has been setup inside the West Hempstead store for the public.
