The California Secretary of State confirmed verified signatures have reached the requirement for recall election. There are enough valid signatures for others to get on the ballot and remove the current governor Gavin Newsom. Newsom has no choice but to bow out as per law and even his aunt, Nancy Pelosi can't do anything. The official candidate announced so far on the Republican line is Caitlyn Jenner. 1.626 million signatures have been verified on recall petition, qualifying for an election later this year.
