Today is the CIP close to SSP for truck day

Police are on the Cross Island Parkway northbound in Elmont reporting a tractor trailer struck the overpass. This is near the Linden Blvd Exit and also near the Southern State Parkway.

ESU is working to remove the truck.

Heavy delays all around.

Police are working on the traffic.

Avoid the route for now.
