Homicide investigation at a local store in Suffolk County

The SCPD is at a local store in Lindenhurst reporting a homicide investigation. This is on West Montauk Highway near S Broadway.

The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

ESU is working on the scene with evidence collection. Chopper is also hovering in the area.

Call came in this morning and police closed off the area.

The investigation continues.
