To be or not to be patient during rush hour in Fresh Meadows

Union Turnpike eastbound before 188 Street is always busy during rush hour. A victim faced the worst nightmare while trying to get into the car which was parked when another driver slammed toward the door damaging on the right lane.

Local witnesses and others called 911 of the incident while the driver wanted in questioning took off leaving the victim with damages awaiting for police.

A witness says rush hour is always busy with speeding vehicles and lane changing without signals is risky for drivers with parked vehicles trying to leave. Another witness says drivers should be patient over a hundred times before getting in the car since double parking has caused lots of accidents during rush hour.

EMS says no one was injured.
