Thursdays for speed cameras Wednesdays for benches

Every Thursday, the NYC Dept of Transportation is working all day installing speed cameras. Today, the NYC Mayor announced that every Wednesday will be the day to add benches at bus stops around the city. The goal is set at 8,750 bus stops starting next month in all five boroughs costing taxpayers $40 million bucks. This will continue for the next 10 years including leaning bars.

However, there is no guarantee the benches or leaning bars will be there as it's worth a lot to resell at the local scrap yards like the garbage containers. It will be called Universal Seating.

The next setup is to add more seating on city sidewalks all over so people can relax and read a good book. Maybe it's reserved for Tuesdays.
