This week homicide investigation is in Ronkonkoma

The SCPD were called to the parking lot of LIRR reporting an unresponsive male found inside a vehicle. This is in Ronkonkoma, Suffolk County and the incident was reported around 4:30pm.

After opening the doors, EMS evaluated to confirm the male died.

ESU removed the body and the medical examiner transported to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Police also removed the vehicle from the parking lot.

As of now one section of the parking lot remains closed.

The train schedules are not affected during the rush hour.

The investigation continues.
