Dead body investigation has cops at two locations in Queens

This early evening, police were called to the Pepsi sign water front in Long Island City reporting a dead body found floating. ESU removed the body to the nearest harbor.

Around 3pm this afternoon, police were called to the Rockaway Park reporting a group of teens went into the beach for swimming. ESU removed two teens while one is still missing. As of this evening, the NYPD continues the search and rescue mission of an 18 year old male who is still missing.

The beach is not officially open until Memorial Day.

Police didn't say if both incidents are related.

The investigation continues.

Update - the body of 18 year old found by Beach 73rd and police confirmed both incidents are separate.
