Third rail project started with workers from Floral Park to Hicksville

The first task of LIRR's third rail project started with workers clearing vegetation from Floral Park to Hicksville. The second task is surveys of the existing condition of roads around stations and tracks along with structure checks. Then pest and rodent control. The work will not affect the schedules for commuters.
