Third dead body discovered in New Hyde Park

Police reported a third dead body in New Hyde Park. All three are homeless individuals wandering in the area. According to multiple residents, one of the homeless whose body was found on Sunday on Hillside Avenue across Stop and Shop was living next to the supermarket back parking lot at night. The other one was found on New Hyde Park Road near Lakeville Road who was living behind the dumpster last month. Last year in December, the body of a homeless man was found on Union Turnpike and Langdale Street near the small triangle park.

One of the investigation staff reported homeless are dumped in the hospitals from other places such as Manhattan and then discharged due to lack of medical expenses.

The homeless crisis in NYC is at an all time high. All police can do is drop them to local hospitals and the cycle repeats.
