The root of crime is mental health crisis in NYC

The NYC Mayor's office announced more funding for the mental health crisis by reducing additional services from NYPD to social workers. The real cause of crime is due to the mental health crisis by identifying the brain why people are violent which is the root cause need to be analyzed well with funding and not jails. The city is now on a hiring spree with psychiatrists and psychology doctorate level candidates on stand by so the no show jobs unless called is the first start.

According to the crime stats, the average age of crime committed is 34 years old, barely able to stand on their own refusing to get a job by blaming on the high crime neighborhoods. More like it's a bad neighborhood and a criminal record is a social standing to survive. This is a new plan to expand with more taxpayer funds with love, dignity and compassion by hiring mostly no show jobs to run the operation to diversity as many programs.

Also the Mayor's office say the closing of Rikers Island to small jails in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx is delayed to 2030 or longer since the total beds are 4,160 capacity. For this, the city is looking to add more smaller locations to spread around for additional inmates who will be treated with don't do crime, it's bad lessons. As of today, there are around 6,658 inmates at Rikers Island and most are hard core and dangerous if released but the local elected officials believe with proper mental care everyone will be cured to be released to society.

Today, the Mayor announced the opening of the first Outposted Therapeutic Housing Unit at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue — a major step towards commitment to closing Rikers Island.

For Queens, Creemoor is under the list for review.

This is an excellent plan to scatter around NYC so please welcome all to your neighborhood.
