The power of the NY state lies with the governor for all proposals

The NYC Mayor's proposals left or right lies with the NY Governor who has the final say. One example proposed by the current Democrat primary winner Zohran Mamdani who wants free buses is not going to happen as the Governor won't support it. The MTA is the cutest baby of NY that decides what's best for the state and city. Anything related to the MTA to make changes, it's a pipeline dream only but people don't know that. They just tag along with anyone who is making a noise for attention. A little knowledge is crucial but how to get it is a mystery.

The other one, freeze the rent. Nope, nada, since developers have more power in the state.

During today’s press meet, the Governor stated some are agreed and some not on Mamdani’s proposals.

Coming to the general election on November 4 this year, the Republicans have less chance with the current contender, Curtis Sliwa polling at 7 and 11% among the long timers in mainly Queens and Brooklyn. That number can be changed to higher if Andrew Cuomo drops out of the race and the deadline to announce is tomorrow. This is a wait and watch since the latest poll shows both Cuomo and Mamdani tied at 39%.

The best part is Andrew Cuomo's brother Chris who sided with the far left during his CNN days is now on regretful fate after his big brother lost. Oh boo hoo. Karma.

The real split is between the current Mayor Adams, Cuomo and Sliwa giving a possible victory for Mamdani as the lone candidate.
