Armed robberies continue to target innocent victims in Queens

The NYPD is on heavy watch around one part of the area where armed robberies continue to target innocent victims. The vicinity of Ridgewood, Glendale, Woodside, Jackson Heights, Corona and downtown Flushing has added patrols. Most of the crimes involving moped riding suspects rob victims of their chains, purses and other personal belongings.

The latest incident was reported today around 12pm on Stanhope Street in Ridgewood where two suspects described by police as males, Hispanics on a moped robbed multiple victims.

Early this morning, robbery victims reported on Roosevelt Avenue and 74th Street in Jackson Heights.

The NYPD is still on the hunt for the two suspects from the surveillance pictures for multiple robberies last month around Queens. If seen, call 911.

All incidents are under investigation.
