The Haru is now affordable seven million less in Flushing

In 2024, The Haru as part of the NYC affordable housing opened for all to apply. The 7 story building at 138-25 Barclay Avenue in downtown Flushing is one of the most expensive now on the market for a cool $33 million after reducing from $40 million.

Hey, it's only $7 million bucks less.

Built in 2023 with fanfare has 41 two bedrooms, 6 one bedrooms and 1 Studio. For those who know the area born and raised, this was the part of the St. Michael's Church where the nuns used to live. It was demolished in 2023 upsetting many patrons of the church. To this date, the church has not disclosed the reason for sale to the public.

For qualified buyers, the monthly estimate is $200,000 which is $2 million a month to cough up plus other expenses.
