Temple replaced eatery on Hillside Avenue in Floral Park

The Hindu temple on Hillside Avenue north side between 256 and 257 Streets in Floral Park has moved to 259-19 Hillside Avenue replacing one part of the eatery, Flavor of India. Several sources have stated the former temple location will have another tenant related to religion but won?t disclose details.

Meanwhile residents on 260 Street have already complained of lack of parking and already crowded intersection.

Also an insider hinted of adding concrete divider on Hillside Avenue. The temple was once housed Key Food which later became a general supermarket.

The new owners filed bankruptcy and converted into a temple.

From there the temple management provided loans to local businesses with minimal interest.
