Male shot on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst

Police have closed off Sunrise Highway and 40th Street in Lindenhurst reporting a male shot while sitting in the driver's seat of his vehicle.

The suspect took off in a vehicle toward Sunrise Highway eastbound.

Police described the suspect as male, Hispanic. EMS is on the scene attending to the 24 year old male victim.
