Suspects used boxcutters to steal items at the Long Island mall

The NCPD reported four suspects, three females and one male entered the local mall in Garden City and took off with items. The incident was reported on Friday, April 28 around 12:30pm. The suspects entered the local Louis Vuitton store in the mall and used box cutters to cut six different security wires that were holding purses in place.

Seven purses, totaling approximately $23,000, were removed from the store while passing all points of purchase without rendering payment. All four suspects fled the mall in a 2012 white Kia Sportage in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing.
