Suspect wanted for stealing while victims were praying in Queens

Police reported a suspect is wanted for stealing cash and other items from Muslim temples while patrons were praying. The first incident happened in Jackson Heights at the Islamic Center Mosque on Roosevelt Avenue on February 23. The victim lost $1,200 and cards after a long day of working. Then on April 3, the same suspect went inside Masjid Al Taufiq Mosque in Elmhurst and took off with cash and cards from another victim. Ongoing investigation.
